Be noted: Switching modes is only possible on Solaris. A JVM is either 64bit or 32bit, except on Solaris where both run modes are available in a single JVM.
(In windows, this will not work.)
Eclipse -> Preferences -> Java -> Installed JRE
select the JRE that you want to change, click Edit
add -d32
